Amendment of Stored Value Facility Account ("SVF") or Other Registration Records - Temporary Service Centres

(The following procedures are only applicable to existing registrants who were disbursed with the 1st-instalment voucher on 16 April)

(Unless otherwise specified, "Consumption Voucher Scheme" or "the Scheme" on this page refers to the 2023 Consumption Voucher Scheme 2nd Instalment.)

Temporary service centres have been set up at different locations under the CVS to help registrants in need of assistance. People may visit any of the temporary service centres during the registration period of the CVS ( 5 to 27 June 2023) and submit an amendment application through the electronic registration portal with the assistance of the centre staff (click here for the addresses and opening hours of the service centres). To avoid waiting, people may make an appointment with the service centre in advance by calling the CVS hotline 18 5000.

Documents/Information Required

In general, registrants only need to bring along their valid Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card ("HKPIC")/Hong Kong Identity Card ("HKIC") (original) if they only need to amend the name and/or contact telephone number in their registration record.

If registrants want to change the stored value facility ("SVF") account for receiving the 2nd-instalment voucher, they should bring along the smart phone containing the SVF account or the Octopus card for receiving the 2nd-instalment voucher, in addition to their valid HKPIC/HKIC (original).

If registrants have submitted a valid claim request under the Mandatory Provident Fund ("MPF") legislation for early withdrawal of their MPF or benefits under MPF exempted Occupational Retirement Schemes before reaching the age of 65 on the ground of permanent departure from Hong Kong, but consider themselves still satisfying the requirement of "not having permanently departed from Hong Kong nor having such intention" under the 2023 Consumption Voucher Scheme 2nd Instalment, they should bring along the original of relevant supporting documents [Note 1] to any of the temporary service centres.

Note 1: Supporting documents proving that a registrant satisfies the requirement of "not having permanently departed from Hong Kong nor having such intention" include MPF records, tax demand notes and proof of residence etc. The relevant document(s) should be issued after the registrant's early withdrawal of MPF or benefits under MPF exempted Occupational Retirement Schemes and within the past three months or still be valid.
