Support Service for People of Different Races
We are committed to helping eligible people of different races register for the Consumption Voucher Scheme ("the Scheme") by providing them with the necessary support. Notes of registration and a publicity poster in 8 languages (i.e. Bahasa Indonesia, Hindi, Nepali, Punjabi, Tagalog, Thai, Urdu and Vietnamese) explaining the details of the Scheme are provided below.
People of different races having questions about the Scheme may call the interpretation hotlines of Centre for Harmony and Enhancement of Ethnic Minority Residents (CHEER) as set out below and inform the interpreters that they want to contact the Scheme hotline 185000. CHEER will provide necessary assistance and arrange telephone interpretation service.
CHEER is sponsored by the Home Affairs Department to provide accessible interpretation and translation services to people of different races.
