Procedures for Electronic Registration without iAM Smart (New and Existing Registrants)

Procedures for registration without iAM Smart for authentication:

For registrants who had successfully registered for the Cash Payout Scheme ("CPS") and received payment/collected the cheque before 18 June 2021

1. Enter the registration system of the Scheme;
2. Read the "Guidance Notes for the Scheme" as well as the "Declaration and Undertaking of Registrant" and tick the relevant box to accept the terms and conditions;
3. Enter the registrant's Hong Kong identity card number and the date of issue;
4. After preliminary verification, answer the following questions relating to CPS registration for authentication:
   1. last four digits of the registered telephone number; and
   2. last five digits of the bank account number specified for receipt of payment (for payment through bank transfer), or the post office chosen for collection of the order cheque (for payment by order cheque);
5. Provide the following information upon authentication of identity:
   1. the related number of the stored value facility account for receiving consumption vouchers; and
   2. declaration made with regard to the "residing in Hong Kong" requirement;
      The system will display the registrant's name in Chinese and English (if applicable), Hong Kong identity card number and telephone number based on his/her registration record under the CPS. The registrant may update the information (except the Hong Kong identity card number) as necessary, e.g. to ensure an SMS-enabled local mobile phone number is provided for receiving notifications from the Government or its contractors regarding the Scheme;
6. Click "Confirm" to complete registration. An acknowledgement of registration will be shown on the screen and a reference number be provided for record and subsequent enquiries;
7. Click "Save" or "Print" to save or print the registration information and reference number.

For registrants who do not use iAM Smart or fail to / cannot answer the questions relating to CPS registration for authentication

1. Enter the registration system of the Scheme;
2. Read the "Guidance Notes for the Scheme" as well as the "Declaration and Undertaking of Registrant" and tick the relevant box to accept the terms and conditions;
3. Enter the registrant's Hong Kong identity card number and the date of issue of the card;
4. After preliminary verification, enter the following information:
   1. English name as shown on Hong Kong identity card;
   2. Chinese name (optional);
   3. An SMS-enabled local mobile phone number for receiving notifications from the Government or its contractors regarding the Scheme;
   4. The related number of the SVF account for receiving consumption vouchers; and
   5. declaration made with regard to the "residing in Hong Kong" requirement;
5. After clicking "Confirm", an acknowledgement of registration will be shown on the screen and the registrant will be reminded to upload a copy of his/her Hong Kong identity card through the Scheme website after a specified period of time (the system will send an SMS reminder to the registrant via the designated telephone number after the specified period of time). A reference number will also be shown on the screen for record and subsequent enquiries
6. After the specified period of time, visit the Scheme website and upload a copy of the registrant's Hong Kong identity card after entering his/her Hong Kong identity card number and reference number to complete registration. All concerned registrants should complete uploading a copy of their identity cards on or before 16 Aug 2021;
7. Click "Save" or "Print" to save or print the registration information and reference number.
