The following are some examples to illustrate the arrangements for existing registrants to change their SVF accounts or other registration records.
1. I want to use the SVF account for receiving vouchers under 2022 (Phase I) CVS to receive vouchers under Phase II. What should I do?
In general, there is no need for eligible existing registrants to go through any procedure if they do not intend to change their SVF account for receiving vouchers or other registration records. The $5,000 consumption vouchers under Phase II will be disbursed by instalments to the same SVF account based on their eligibility.
2. I use SVF account A for receiving vouchers under 2022 (Phase I) CVS and want to use another SVF account B for receiving vouchers under Phase II. What should I do?
During the registration period of the Scheme (23 June to 23 July 2022), people can submit amendment application through the electronic registration portal under the Scheme website (click here) or visit one of the temporary service centres to submit amendment application through the electronic registration portal to amend their SVF registration record to use another SVF account B to receive vouchers under Phase II (accounts A and B can be accounts of different SVFs).

The same SVF account cannot be used for registration by more than one registrant under 2022 CVS. If the system finds that SVF account B has already been registered by another registrant, the application to amend SVF registration record will be regarded as duplicated application and will not be further processed.
After a person has successfully amended the SVF account for receiving vouchers under Phase II, he/she cannot submit amendment application again. His/her existing SVF account used to receive vouchers under Phase I will not be changed as a result, i.e. he/she will continue to receive vouchers (if any [Note]) under Phase I using SVF account A.
Note: Under 2022 (Phase I) Consumption Voucher Scheme, the expiry date for consumption vouchers disbursed through AlipayHK, Tap & Go and WeChat Pay HK is 31 October 2022 and the collection deadline for consumption vouchers disbursed through Octopus cards is 31 December 2022.
3. My SVF account A registered under 2022 (Phase I) CVS has been lost/malfunctioned and I have successfully made amendment via the electronic registration portal to use SVF account B for receiving vouchers under Phase II. I want to use the same SVF account B to collect/use the outstanding consumption vouchers under 2022 (Phase I) CVS. What should I do?
If SVF accounts A and B are accounts of different SVFs, the registrant cannot use SVF Account B to collect/use the outstanding consumption vouchers under the 2022 (Phase I) CVS.
If SVF accounts A and B are accounts of the same SVF, it can be handled as follows:
If SVF accounts A and B are both Octopus card
People can change the Octopus card used to receive consumption vouchers under 2022 (Phase I) CVS through the dedicated website (click here). After approval of the amendment application, all relevant information under 2022 (Phase I) CVS, including the uncollected/unused consumption vouchers (if any [Note]) and the "eligible spending" record, will be transferred to Octopus card B. Octopus card A will be invalidated.
If SVF accounts A and B are accounts of the same SVF (including Octopus card)
People may contact the relevant SVF operator (click here for the contacts of SVF operators) to fix the invalid account A first. If account A cannot be re-activated, people can visit the Scheme Secretariat (17/F, Pioneer Centre, 750 Nathan Road, Mongkok, Hong Kong) or any one of the temporary service centres (click here for the addresses and opening hours of the service centres) to complete the amendment procedure.
People can also call the hotline 185000 to obtain the "Application Form for Amendment of Registration Information" and send the completed and signed form, together with a copy of their Hong Kong Identity Card, to the "Consumption Voucher Scheme Secretariat, GPO P.O. Box 180005, Hong Kong" by post. No postage stamp is required if posted in Hong Kong (postage will be paid by the Government).
After approval of the amendment application, all relevant information under 2022 (Phase I) CVS, including the uncollected/unused consumption vouchers (if any [Note]), will be transferred to SVF account B.
If the system finds that SVF account B has already been registered by another registrant under 2022 CVS, the amendment will be rejected as duplicated application.
Note: The collection deadline for consumption vouchers disbursed through Octopus cards under 2022 (Phase I) Consumption Voucher Scheme is 31 December 2022.
4. I have successfully amended my SVF registration record to SVF account A through the electronic registration portal, but subsequently account A has been lost/malfunctioned and I want to use SVF account B to collect/use the outstanding consumption vouchers under the Scheme. What should I do?
If SVF accounts A and B are accounts of different SVFs, the registrant cannot use account B to collect/use the outstanding consumption vouchers under the Scheme.
If the SVF account A and B are accounts of the same SVF, it can be handled as follows:
If SVF accounts A and B are both Octopus card
People can change the Octopus card used to receive consumption vouchers under the Scheme through the dedicated website (click here). After approval of the amendment application, all relevant information under 2022 (Phase II) CVS, including the uncollected/unused consumption vouchers (if any) and the "eligible spending" records, will be transferred to Octopus card B.

After approval of the amendment application, all relevant information under 2022 (Phase II) CVS, including the uncollected/unused consumption vouchers (if any), will be transferred to SVF account B.
If the system finds that SVF account B has already been registered by another registrant, the amendment application will be rejected.
5. I have successfully amended my registered SVF account under the Scheme to account A. Although the account is still valid, I now want to use another SVF account B to collect/use the outstanding consumption vouchers under the Scheme. What should I do?
Registrants are only allowed to change their SVF account under the Scheme once during the registration period. If the SVF account A is still valid, we will not accept further amendment submitted by the registrant. If account A is lost/malfunctioned, the registrant can only change to another account under the same SVF to collect/use the outstanding consumption vouchers under the Scheme. Please see example 4 above for details.
